1.  Tell us your name. Any nicknames?   Shellie Ayers; Ghetto girl   

  2.  Are you married? To whom?    Yes!  Lance Ayers, the most awesome man of God, who happens to play the keyboard in IFC.    

  3.  Do you have children? How many?  Yes, cuatro.  They are:  Andrew, Caleb, Layna, and Leah. 

  4. When is your birthday?  On Flag day, June 14th   

  5.  How long have you been playing/singing?  Well, I’ve been singing technically since I was about 6 months old or so; however, in a more choreographed, organized way, since I was about 9 years old.  I’ve played the piano, the clarinet, and now the bass guitar; and that for about 4 years.            

  6.  How did you come to be part of IFC?  The bassist at the time was going on tour  with Norma Jean (formerly Lutikriss);  and I, never having played a bass guitar but then a back up singer for IFC, felt God calling me to that position.  So I picked it up, and God enabled me to learn it quickly.  

  7.  What is your favorite scripture?  Revelation 19:11-16; Revelation 21:1-2; 2 Peter 1:3-11; Matthew 7:21-23, and everything else God wrote to me. 

  8.  How did you come to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior?  I grew up in a Pentecostal church and asked Jesus to be my Savior in a Missionettes class one Wednesday night when I was 8 years old. 

  9.  Any Hobbies?  Reading my Bible, playing golf, doing hair, and buying stuff. 

  10.  What is your favorite food when Donna is around?  Baked salmon and ever so slightly steamed asparagus with creamy cucumber/dill sauce.  

  11. What is your favorite food when Donna is not around?  Mint chocolate chip  blizzard @ DQ, the Coca Cola chocolate cake @    Cracker Barrel, and the chocolate chip paradise pie @ Chili’s. 

  12.  Miscellaneous info-  I am a licensed Barber, and can do  a mean fade.  My first  name is spelled with ie on the end.  I birthed 4 children within 5 years and 3 months time.  I have visible biceps.  I can run really fast.  My daughter and I  (Layna) have the same birthday.  Lance and I are youth Pastor’s at our church, LifePoint Ministries.
